Your CreatEcards RSVP form is where guests tell you whether they’re coming and provide the information you need to prepare. For a family picnic, adult and child counts may be enough. For a seated dinner, you may need each person’s name and meal choice. Open RSVP form, step 2 of the CreatEcards editor, to choose how guests reply, who they can bring and what questions they answer.
To return to an existing invitation, open Home → Your pages in CreatEcards, select Edit, then RSVP form. Changes apply immediately to a published page, so review your questions and guest allowances before inviting people to reply.
First choose Simple or Detailed RSVP if you haven’t selected how guests will reply.
Set contact details and who can attend
You can choose which contact details guests provide when they RSVP. Their name may be enough if you already have a way to reach them. If you’ll need to contact them about the event, you can ask for an email address, phone number or both.
In the editor’s RSVP form settings, open RSVP & guests settings and find Responder details. Choose Name only, Name + email, Name + phone or Name + email + phone to match the information you need.
Your guest policy determines who can be included in a reply. In the same settings, choose whether the person you invite can bring other people and how many attendees their reply can cover:
- Choose Plus ones allowed or No plus ones.
- If plus-ones are allowed, set Max. people per response. A limit of four allows four attendees in total. For an event where an adult replies for themselves and their family, that adult takes one of the four places.
- Choose Adult only for an adults-only event, Children allowed for an event where adults and children attend together, or Children’s Event for a children’s party.
Choose Children’s Event when you want to collect only the children’s names on the RSVP, even if adults come along to supervise. Children allowed suits an event where adults are attending as guests and can bring children.
These choices set your page’s default guest allowances. If your event FAQ says siblings are welcome, allow children and enough people in each response. When particular households need different allowances, add them in Page Manager, adjust their individual settings and send their Personalized links. A shared One link invitation uses the page defaults.

Contact details, event capacity and the size of each responding group are separate choices. The four-person group limit shown here includes the person replying.
Set your deadline and response notifications
A reply deadline gives you time to confirm food, seating and other arrangements. In the CreatEcards editor, open RSVP form → RSVP & guests settings and use Stop collecting response after date to set your RSVP-by date. If your invitation design includes a deadline, make sure it matches this setting.
Turn on Email me when someone responds if you want a notification when replies arrive. To pause replies while keeping your event page visible, switch off response collection; you don’t need to take your page offline.

Set your own reply deadline and choose whether to receive response notifications. The date pictured is sample setup content.
Questions you may have
Does a limit of four allow the person replying to bring four more people?
No. A limit of four allows four attendees in total. If the person replying is attending, they are one of those four.
Do guests have to give an email address or phone number?
Only if you choose to collect them. Select Name only if you don’t need contact details, or choose name with email, phone or both under Responder details.
Can I stop collecting replies without taking down the invitation?
Yes. Turn off response collection in RSVP & guests settings. The page can stay visible while replies are paused.
Set event capacity and waitlisting separately from each guest’s party size. Add custom RSVP questions if you need more than attendance and contact details.
